The Himachal Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Entrance Test is an entrance exam that is carried out by the Himachal Pradesh University for the admission of students into the MBBS and BDDS courses. There are around 5 medical & dental colleges in Himachal Pradesh that take in candidates on the basis of their HP CPMT scores. The basic qualification needed by a student to appear for this exam is a pass in class 10+2 in the science discipline. They must have secured atleast 50 percentage in their finals. Students who will be writing their finals are eligible to apply for the exam too.

Structure of the HP CPMT entrance exam

The Entrance Exam consists of objective type questions with multiple choices. The candidate has to select the right answer from the given options. The questions are from physics, chemistry, Botany and zoology subjects.

The students can prepare for their exams by creating a time table that will give them enough time to study as well as take some time to relax. Each subject has to have a separate time and these sessions must be spent studying it alone.
