Eligibility Criteria : -

The applicatant should have a passed their bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and those who are in the final year of Bachelor's degree may also eligible to apply for GATE examination OR

The applicatant should have a passed their bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture (Post-B.Sc./Post-Diploma) from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and those who are in the final year of Bachelor's degree may also eligible to apply for GATE examination OR

The applicatant should have a passed their Master's degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent qualification from a recognized University and those who are in the final year of Master's degree may also eligible to apply for GATE examination .

But pre-final year of degree course may not eligible to apply for this examination and there is no age limits for this examination.There is no restriction about no.of attempts of GATE examination .
