Which stream is required to be eligible for Merchant Navy?
If a student pass class 10th Board exams from Commerce stream and completed class XII Board exams from Science stream then can he appear for Merchant Navy?

There is no such Commerce or Science stream for 10th Board. Streams are defined for 11th and 12th standard only.
So, after completing 10th standard, if a candidate completes 11th and 12th standard from Science stream (i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics), then the candidate is eligible for pursuing Merchant Navy course after completing 12th standard. Since, you have completed 12th standard wiht PCM stream, so you are eligible for pursuing Merchant Navy course. |

Merchant navy job is there only for science stream student with PCM subjects after 12th, however
Students who have passed 10th standard (with mathematics, science and English subjects) are also eligible to pursue the course. After course completion, sea service and gaining required certificates, one may join merchant navy ships as part of their deck crew. |
