Dear friend,you have to choose pcm in 10+2.Then you can do b.arch in interior design.This is 5 years design course offered in only top colleges such as anna university,iits,nits and some central university.Prepare well for entrance exam such as IIT JEE,CEED,NATA and AIEEE.CEED,NATA will be based on design.All the best.

Is it necessary for us to be good in drawing if i want to be a interior designer?

Choose any stream but take Maths to do good interior designing course.

Some ARCHITECTURE course offer INTERIOR DESIGNING as one of the main subject in their syllabus.

Some Institutions offer this course even if the students do not have MATHS in their class 12th.

Eligibility Criteria for Interior Designing Courses

10+2 from Recognized Board with minimum 50% marks.

Most of the reputed institutions offer this course conduct Entrance Examination.

Entrance Examination may comprise questions on the MATHS , REASONING and on INTERIOR APTITUDE.

In order to do Interior Design course,you will have to take Science stream
with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2/Intermediate.

In order to take Admission in this course you will have to appear in NATA(National Aptitude Test in Architecture) Exam.

In order to appear in this Exam,you will require the Following Eligibility:-

Educational Qualification:-

>>You must be passed out in 10+2/Intermediate with Physics,Mathematics as a Necessary Paper from Recognized University.

Marks:-

>>Your minimum marks in 10+2 should be 50%.

Exam Syllabus:-

It will contain Questions from two sections:-

Section I - Aesthetic Sensitivity Test.
Section II - Drawing Test.

Topics of Aesthetic Sensitivity Test are:-

>>Analytical Reasoning.
>>Architectural Awareness.
>>Identifying Commonly used Materials and Objects.
>>Identifying 3 dimensional objects.
>>Mental Ability.
>>Imaginative Comprehension and Expression.

Topics of Drawing Test are:-
