A Student who have completed distance B.Sc in Mathematics can do B.Ed regular course?


Is a student who completed a degree ( B.Sc.,mathematics) from periyar university in distance education is eligible for andhra pradesh B.Ed., regular course?

You have completed B.Sc in Mathematics subject is distance mode so, you are eligible for B.Ed in regular mode.

Bachelor's Degree in any subject with at least 50% marks at the graduate level or its equivalent qualification from a recognized university are eligible for B.Ed course

Yes , definitely you are eligible to pursue Bachelor of Education two year course after completing your graduation from distance mode. You have to qualify the entrance exam that is conducted by the state university where you want to take admission.

# Of course, you are eligible for regular B.Ed. course even after completion of bachelor degree through distance mode.

# Required eligibility criteria for B.Ed. course:

* Candidate must be in possession of any bachelor degree in any discipline.
* Candidate of general category and OBC category must have taken minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
* Candidate of reserved categories must have taken minimum 45% marks in aggregate.


# Few important information regarding B.Ed. course:

* Entrance Examination (generally conducted in the month of June or July)
* Declaration of result (generally in the month of July or August)
* The entrance examination is of objective type with multiple choice options.
* The questions asked are generally pertain to arithmetic, general studies, English language, aptitude, teaching potential etc.


# It is better for the candidate to have following desired qualities:

* Pleasant and cheerful personality
* Thorough knowledge of subject
* Good intelligence level
* Ability to work hard
* Good adaptability skill
* Self-discipline
* Coherent speech
* Good sense of humour
* Inclination towards learning
