Which subject should be chosen as optional for IAS exams by a software engineering graduate?
I am a computer software engineering graduate. what subjects I should take as optional subjects

IAS(Indian Administrative Service) exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) once in a year. Eligibility criteria: >>The candidate should be complete graduation from any recognised university. >>Final year candidates also eligibledor this exam. >>You must be a citizen of india. Age criteria: Age limits is 21years to 30years. 3years age relaxation for the OBC candidates. 5years age relaxation for the SC/ST candidates. Selection procedure: Preliminary exam, Main exam, Interview. In this IAS exam you have to take two optional subjects. Animal husbandry, Agriculture, Zoology, Botany, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Commerce, Geology, Physics, Chemistry. For more detail visit http://www.upsc.gov.in All the best. |

IAS stands for INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE this exam is conducted by the UPSC once a year.Graduation is the minimum required course for this exam. ELIGIBILITY: 1.Complete graduation from a recognized university 2.Age limit for this exam21 to 30 years 3.Age relaxation for OBC candidates is 3 years 4.5 years for SC/ST candidates 5.Candidate should be a citizen of india. SELECTION PROCESS: 1.Preliminary exam 2.Main exam 3.Interview NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS: 1.4 years for general candidates 2.7 years for OBC candidates. 3.There is no age limit for SC/ST candidates.
