i am in MA first year so plz i dont now what is syllabus of set net...Please mention the syllabus to me

There will be three papers for this test. The first part will have questions related to teaching and research aptitude. For the next two sections you need to select the subject based on the area you specialised in the master’s level. Like, if you specialised in philosophy it is a must that you select the same for the NET exam. In the second section there will objective questions related to this area and in the third section descriptive questions will be asked.

Examination Pattern

It consist of three papers.

Paper-I :: It is of general nature for assessing the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate.
It is conducted to test ::
reasoning ability
comprehension
divergent thinking
general awareness.

Paper-II :: Its consist of objective questions based on the subject selected by the candidate.

Paper-III ::will consist of only descriptive questions from the subject selected by the candidate.
