Yes there is the option of becoming lieutenant in Indian Army for you being a biology student but for the same you will have to join NDA.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy and to join the same you will have to qualify NDA entrance examination which is held twice every year by UPSC in two stages which includes Written examination and Service Selection Board ( SSB ) interview respectively.

* For appearing in the same examination the qualifications required by you are as given below:-

* You must be an unmarried male Indian citizen with your age lying within 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

* You must have completed your higher secondary school degree course with any discipline from a recognised board. For joining Indian navy and Indian air force one needs to have physics and mathematics as their main subjects in their academics.

* You must have physical and mental fitness as per the service requirement norms.

For more detailed information regarding the same examination you must log on to the link www.upsc.gov.in or www.upscexam.com.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
