Is there any negative marking for non-attempting any question in GATE?
What is the marking scheme of GATE examination? Is there any negative marking for non-attempting any of the questions? Is there negative marking for wrong answers also?

The full form of GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.
The marking scheme of GATE examination is: 1. 1/3 marks will be deducted for wrong answer for 1 mark question. 2. For 2 marks questions, 2/3 marks will be deducted. 3. Zero marks for unattempted question. 4. No negative marking for numerical answer type questions. |
