Is there any percentage relaxation for SC candidates to do B.Ed?

Sir, I have completed my B.Sc hons. with specialization in Mathematics and scored 48% in finals and I belong to Schedule Caste category. So, am I eligible to do B.Ed from any UGC recognized colleges? I heard that standard cut-off is 50% for General caste category candidates. What about SC candidates?

Yes, there is a percentage relaxation for SC candidates to do B.Ed:-
The minimum percentage of marks required for applying for the B.Ed course is 50%.
There will be relaxations allowed in case of the percentage of marks for the reserved category candidates.
The candidates who belong to the reserved categories namely SC/ ST/ OBC needs to score only 45% marks.
The selection will be based on the percentage of marks in the entrance examination. You can apply online for the exam.
