I wish to prepare for gate within 12 days,,
Dear experts i wish to know all the tricks ,
and please provide the previous years question for 5 years,

Gate Exam has been Done which was on 13th of February .

Gate every year conducts exams with different streams, Like Electrical, ECE etc.

But here i am Posting for those who will be observing or Searching For Tricks in Future.

And Here as You have Not specified which Papers you want That's why i am Providing Links so that you can Access to these Papers.

The Only Trick Behind cracking GATE is Preparations with Hard Work.

Subject & Topic Wise Study ,Should have Proper Schedule.

In these 12 Days You won't Get good Rank but You can Cross The Cut off.

Only papers won't help you much, you need to boost your Internal topics like if you are in ECE branch then Control system is a basic subject in which you have to enhance your knowledge,for this you should join some reputed institute for coaching.

Dear friend THIS YEAR GATE exam is already has gone on 13th feb........

that's you should try for next year and not depend on 12th days only.....

Because GATE exam is not easy very tough exam and it is a very vast syllabus that is not completed in 12 days only......

its minimum 3month then you are like to qualify in this exam..........

because this is a good way for M.TECH admission..........

GATE 2011 Question Types
Multiple Choice Questions

Multiple choice questions in all papers and sections will contain four answers, of which only one is correct. The types of questions in a paper may be based on following logic:

(i) Recall:

These are based on facts, principles, formulae or laws of the discipline. The candidate is expected to be able to obtain the answer either from his/her memory of the subject or at most from a one-line computation.

Example
Q. During machining maximum heat is produced

(A) in flank face (B) in rake face
(C) in shear zone (D) due to friction between chip and tool.


(ii) Comprehension:

These questions will test the candidate's understanding of the basics of his/her field, by requiring him/her to draw simple conclusions from fundamental ideas.

Example
Q. A DC motor requires a starter in order

(A) to develop a starting torque
(B) to compensate for auxiliary field ampere turns
(C) to limit armature current at starting
(D) to provide regenerative braking


(iii) Application:

In these questions, the candidate is expected to apply his/her knowledge either through computation or by logical reasoning.

Example:

Q. The sequent depth ratio of a hydraulic jump in a rectangular channel is 16.48. The Froude number at the beginning of the jump is:

(A) 10.0 (B) 5.0

(C) 12.0 (D) 8.0

(iv) Analysis and Synthesis:

These can be linked questions, where the answer to the first question of the pair is required in order to answer its successor. Or these can be common data questions, in which two questions share the same data but can be solved independently of one another.

Common data questions

Multiple questions may be linked to a common data problem, passage and the like. Two or three questions can be formed from the given common data problem. Each question is independent and its solution obtainable from the above problem data/passage directly. (Answer of the previous question is not required to solve the next question). Each question under this group will carry two marks.

Example
Common Data, for instance, Questions 48 and 49 in main paper:
Let X and Y be jointly distributed random variables such that the conditional distribution of Y, given X=x, is uniform on the interval (x-1,x+1). Suppose E(X)=1 and Var(X)= 5/3

First question using common data:

Q.48 The mean of the random variable Y is

(A) 1/2 (B) 1 (C) 3/2 (D) 2

Second question using common data:

Q.49 The variance of the random variable Y is

(A) 1/2 (B) 2/3 (C) 1 (D) 2

Linked answer questions:

These questions are of problem solving type. A problem statement is followed by two questions based on the problem statement. The two questions are designed such that the solution to the second question depends upon the answer to the first one. In other words, the first answer is an intermediate step in working out the second answer. Each question in such linked answer questions will carry two marks.

Example:

Statement for Linked Answer Questions, for instance, for Questions 52 and 53 in Main Paper:

The questions based on the above four logics may be a mix of single stand alone statement / phrase / data type questions, combination of option codes type questions or match items types questions.

GATE exam was already over. Anyway here i am providing some preparation tips and tricks which might be helpful for you in future period of time.

-If you have less time, prepare easy subjects first. Give highest priority yourself to the subjects which you feel easy to prepare

-Try to collect short notes such as brilliant tutorials, gate forums or some other study material. This will help you to speed up your preparation and lets you to go through essential topics only.

-Have a question bank or GATE questions & answers book.As soon as you finish a topic go through the question bank for to solve several questions from that topic and to know the way how questions are being asked

-This is the compulsory thing that every GATE aspirant must do is to go through the GATE previous year papers. There is every chance to get the questions from previous year question papers.

-Don't to try to prepare through soft copies. Because there is every chance that you may switch to any other entertainment activities at any time preparing through soft copy in the system.

GATE means Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. GATE examinations are all India examination which is conducted by the seven Indian Institutes of Technologyon, Indian Government, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MGRD) Indian Institute of Science, National Coordination Board-GATE.

How will be eligible:

1. Candidates who are given the gate, he/she is in final or pre-final year of Bachelor degree holders in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture.
2. Second one is any one can get the Master degree with branch of Science/ Statics/ Computer Applications/ Mathematics or any equivalent degree.
3. Candidates in the second or higher of the Four-year Integrated
Master degree programme in Technology/ Engineering.

GATE question paper format:
In the GATE question paper there are totally 65 questions are present which are contains 100 marks and total duration of the exam is 3 hour. Whole question paper consists of the multiple choice objective paper. Candidates will mark the correct answer because this exam consist negative marks.

Gate is the exam which is conducted for the B.E degree holders and many other students .
It is one of the tough exam conducted in India.If you are thinking that you could clear the Gate Exam in just 12 days then you are thinking wrong.

My friend it is not easy to crack GATE exam with in 12 days.

GATE exam is an entrance exam for M.tech course, which is conducted by IIT's and IISC jointly..

To crcak GATE exxam one has to be good in technical knowledge..
So, if you are good in technical knowledge and you have the confidence in you then you can crack GATE exam by taking preparation of just 12 days..

The best way to prepare for GATE exam , when such few days are left is solve previous question paper of GATE..
By doing this you can get an idea about the question pattern..
So, solve previous year question papers as much as possible..
And try to clear all your doubts.
So, convert this 12 days into 12 hot days..
work hard, be determine..
