Which are the UPSC exams can be appeared on 12th basis?
Respected Sir/Madma, I am preparing for the Board exam of 12th standard and my aim is to get UPSC job. I want to know after completing my 12th, which are all the exams of UPSC, I can give? Please let me know about the exams?

There are number of examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission. But at senior secondary level, there are only two examinations called:
>>SCRA examination: It has been scrapped now. >>NDA/NA examination. You can apply for NDA/NA exam after senior secondary board exam. For Indian Air Force and Navy, Physics and Mathematics is compulsory. The age criteria is 16.5 to 19.5 years. Only unmarried male Indian candidates can apply for NDA/NA exam. |

UPSC is Union Public Service Commission. It conducts various examination for recruitment of candidates as an officer.
The examination conducted are :- NDA. CDS. Civil Service. Central Armed Police Force ( Assistant Commandant ). Indian Engineering Service etc. But, candidates appearing in 12th board or have maximum qualification of std 12th are eligible to appear in NDA examination only. You can appear in NDA examination. UPSC conducts the examination twice in a year.
The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed or pursuing in 12th from a recognised board. The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years. Only male candidates are eligible to appear in the examination. So, if you have the required qualification then you can appear in the examination. The other examination conducted by the UPSC includes - Civil Service, Combined Defence Service, CAPF ( AC ), IES, IFS etc. To get more information about the examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

Eligibility criteria for UPSC exam:
-The candidate should have minimum educational qualification of graduation in any discipline from a recognized University. -Minimum age is 21 years and maximum is 32 years however, age relaxation is given to reserved category students. Hence, on 12th basis you are not eligible. |

The acronym UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission. At present, there is only one examination conducted by UPSC for which minimum academic qualification is senior secondary board from a recognized board.
Name of exam: National Defence Academy exam. Age limit: 16.5 to 19.5 years. Unmarried male Indian candidates can apply. |

The full form of UPSC is Union Public Service Commission. Those who have done 12th from a recognized board can apply for:
1. National Defence Academy/Naval Academy exam. It is single exam at level of senior secondary level. 12th passed or appearing candidates can apply for NDA exam. Subjects like Physics, Mathematics are necessary for Indian Air Force and Indian Navy. |

No, you can not appear in the UPSC exam on the 12th basis. First of all, you have to do graduation from any field and your age should be a minimum of 21 years then you are eligible for an upsc examination.

After completion of std 12th, you are only eligible to appear in the NDA examination conducted by UPSC. Age limit for NDA is 16.5-19.5 years.
