What is the age limit for appearing for CBSE board exam? Can you please let me know the details on the same? Is it mentioned in any of the official sites to refer? It will be really helpful if you can answer me back soon on the same. Thanks!

The minimum age limit for appearing for CBSE (Central Board Of Secondary Education) of 10th board exam is 14 years and there is no upper age limit.

The candidate must have completed 14 years of age on or before 31 December for preceding year for exam.

CBSE refers to Central Board of Secondary Education and same is one of the Central board of education offering education upto Class 12th with its affiliated school all around India.

As far as the age limit for appearing in CBSE Class 10th board examination then the minimum age of candidate required for appearing in the same examination is 14 years by the 1st October of that year in which candidate is pursuing his/her Class 10th.

As per the eligibility criteria, a candidate must have 18 in the minimum age of 14 and maximum should not exceed 16 years while applying for CBSE Board Exams. Similarly if you are applying for the 12th board exams then there is minimum age limit that is 16 years and maximum should not exceed 18 years.

There is no official announcement or notification released by the CBSE board regarding age limit for appearing in 10th board examination.

So, it is not possible to give you the exact figure for the same.

It is the duty of the Directorate of State Education Board to declare the minimum age limit and it varies with state.

So, visit your school or office of the Directorate for any information regarding age limit.

Age limit for appearing in CBSE board exam:-

As per Supreme Court rule the student applying for 10th exam must be minimum 14 years or above.

And the student appearing for 12th board exam should be above 16 years.

If any student is below these he / she is not eligible for exam.

The minimum age limit required to apply for CBSE Board examinations is 15 years. In case, the candidates who can't satisfy the age requirement need to submit the Medical certificate from any recognised Doctor to be eligible to apply for CBSE Board examinations.

As per my knowledge the minimum age limit for appearing in CBSE board exam is 15 years. The most important thing is that you need to study continuously from starting means 1 to 10 standard. You have to go through a registration in 9th standard that is why irregularity is not accepted.

CBSE yet have not declared any minimum age limit criteria to appear in 10th board examination.

The minimum age limit to appear for board examination varies with state because the Directorate of State government declares the minimum age limit for that state.

So, you can get the age limit details only from the school in which you are pursuing or from the Directorate of State government.

As far as you are concerned about the age limit for appearing in CBSE board examination then for your information I would like to let you know that there is minimum age criteria for appearing in CBSE Class 10th board examination which is 14 years by the 1st October of that year in which candidate is pursuing his/her Class 10th. Further I would like to let you know that there is no age criteria for appearing in CBSE Class 12th board examination.
