Age limit for Bank PO exam

In general the maximum bank take the age for Bank PO exam is between

21 to 30 years at the time of appear in the examination but some bank

have different eligibility criteria for appear in the Bank PO exam.

Actually banking sector job is a good job in which you will get batter

facility and a handsome salary. If you are preparing for the bank exam

then it is good for you. Do hard work and crack the exam.

If you want to know that the eligibility criteria for any bank for which

you are preparing then please give me Bank name. In maximum bank

the minimum educational qualification for appear in bank PO exam is

graduation with at least 60% marks and the age must be between

21 to 30 years.

BANK PO Eligibility depends on bank you are applying and it vary from bank to bank like....


Age Eligibility Criteria for PO:

Federal bank
The Candidate must not be more than 26 years of age to be eligible for the post of Federal Bank’s Probationary Officer.


ICICI Bank
Candidates must not be more than 25 years of age to be eligible for this program.

Dena Bank
The minimum age of the candidate is 21 years and maximum age limit is 30.A person of more than 30 yrs of the age cannot apply.......

State Bank of India
Not below 21 years and not above 30 years .. and relaxation in age are
(i)3 years in the case of OBC candidates
(ii) 5 years in the case of SC/ST/Ex-servicemen
(iii) 10 years for VH/OH (Gen); 13 years for VH/OH (OBC) and 15 years for VH/OH (SC/ST) candidates.........


Syndicate Bank
Min. 21 years and Max. 30 years

The minimum age requirement for All nationalized bank is 21 years at the time of interviews....

Where as maximum age limit differ 2 to 3 yrs form Bank to bank, but mean age is approximately 30 years

As per previous recruitment, Age relaxation is provided in the following category...

• -> SC/SC candidates - 5 years

• -> OBC candidates - 3 years

• -> Physically Challenged Candidates - 10 years

• -> Ex- Servicemen - 5 years

• -> Widows, Divorced women etc. - 9 years

Other eligibility:-

• Candidate must be citizen of India.

• Candidate should have completed their graduation with at least 60 % aggregate from the recognized University.

• Candidate must be computer literate to be eligible for this course.

There are some slight changes for some particular banks , so plz have have a look before applying for banks other than SBI, ICICI.

Recruitment of Probationary Officers in State Bank of India; and recruitment of probationary officers (rural business) in State Bank of India

Age limit eligibility for bank PO depends on Bank, where you can apply.
If your age is between 21years and 30 years than you can apply maximum bank.

Your need to have Age - Not below 21 years and not above 30 years. Also you can apply for relaxation in age if needed when you exceed the maximum limit.

Well as you know that there are many banks are working in India and there eligibility
criteria is different but most of them have age limit 21 to 30 years with a relaxation of 5
years for schedule cast students.They wants an aggregate 60% in class 12th and
through out your degree .

Some other banks eligibility ::

State Bank of India

You should be between 21 years and 30 years
Must have bachelor degree.

ICICI Bank
You must be between 21 to 25 years of age.
You must have degree with 60% in aggregate.

Syndicate Bank

You should be between 21 years and 30 years
