The All India Engineering Entrance Exam, conducted by the CBSE, is held for admission in degree programs in Engineering.To be eligible candidate must have passed the +2 level of exam with Physics, Chemistry and Maths and scoring a minimum of 50% mark. The maximum age limit to write the exam is 24 years. Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for Sc/St category.

My son is doing cbse XII th now and intends to appear for engineering entrance exam next year i.e in 2016. He was born in April 1999. What is the minimum age requirement for appearing for the exam?

Following are the age requirements:
1. 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates,
2. 21 Years to 33 Years for OBC candidates and
3. 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates.
