i completd my bsc botany...bt nw i am confused about what to do after this?and what are the courses that i can do???

You can apply for M.Sc in Botany or M.Sc in Botany and Forestry. Applied Botany, Herbal Science, etc are some of the specializations that can be opted for M.Sc. You can try for some other higher education courses like MCA or MBA. Graduate level jobs like CGL and Civil services are suitable for you. You can try for banking sector jobs like clerk or P.O.

Botany is a life science subject where in the candidates will study about plants. In depth knowledge about plants families, their characteristics and other things will be known by the candidates in Botany course.

It is great that you have completed your B.Sc course in Botany.

Many of the candidates will opt for M.Sc in Botany soon after the completion of their Graduation in Botany.

If you are having interest to do your Post Graduation in Botany area itself, then you can opt for various streams in Botany at Post Graduation level.

Each and every university will conduct its own Entrance Exam for the candidates in order to give admission for M.Sc in Botany.

If you don't want to go for M.Sc in Botany, then you can opt for other life science subjects like
M.Sc in Biotechnology
M.Sc in Microbiology
M.Sc in Genetics etc.

But one thing is sure that the job opportunities in the field of life sciences are limited for the candidates who have completed Post Graduation in Life Sciences.

I have seen many of the candidates who completed Post Graduation in Life Sciences and struggling a lot to get a good job with good salary.

Some people got the job after 2 years and some others got jobs with low salaries.

I am not discouraging you but I am sharing my experiences. But if you have good number of references, then you will be easily absorbed into the jobs.

You can also pursue your Post Graduation in Management area like MBA.

MBA stands for Master of Business Administration.

This is a 2 year Management related course being offered by many of the colleges in India.

Even in MBA course also, science related specializations are available like
MBA in Hospital Management
MBA in Pharmaceutical Management

The admission for MBA course will be given through entrance exam like
CAT
MAT
GMAT etc.

You can also opt for other specializations in MBA course like
MBA in Marketing Management
MBA in Human Resource Management etc.

Higher Studies:

You can continue your studies after B.Sc join for Post Graduate courses after B.Sc as there are several Post Graduation course option available.

If you are interested to continue your studies in Botany subject area itself, M.Sc(Botany) is good option.With this M.Sc course you can join any arts and science college as Lecturer.

If you are interested to enter in teaching field.You can go for B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) and it is enter into teaching field.

You can also options for other Post graduation courses like following:

Bioinformatics

Genetic Engineering

Bio Medical Engineering etc. these courses have a great scope in the future in the field research.

Soon after the completion of B.Sc in Botany, the better option would be to join Post Graduation in M.Sc in the same field so that the knowledge that you gained in Graduation will be better useful and moreover you can easily crack the Entrance Exam which helps to get admission in a top college.

Being placed in a top college, if you perform well in academics, you will easily get good job opportunity.

If you don't want to join M.Sc in Botany, then you can opt for any other life science specializations like
M.Sc in Zoology
M.Sc in Biotechnology
M.Sc in Biochemistry
M.Sc in Microbiology etc.

In order to get admission for this course, each and every university will conduct its own Entrance Exam.

You can choose the Entrance Exam in accordance with the university that you would like to join.

There will not be good career prospects for the candidates after completion of M.Sc with life science subjects. So, better to go for Ph.D or Research side to avail top job opportunities.

If you want to diversity into some other fields, then I suggest you to opt for MBA course at Post Graduation level.

There will be good number of job opportunities for the candidates after completion of MBA course in variety of business sectors. Only thing is that they should be strong enough in subject knowledge and communication skills to avail these job opportunities.

You should crack any of the following Entrance Exams to get admission for this course

life science field give very few job opportunities, hence it is better to join a courses like MBA ,it gives more sallary than life science courses.

After completing you B.Sc with Botany you have many options in various fields. You should pursue for post graduation degree by doing M.Sc and you also pursue MBA. This is also a better option.
If you are interested in teaching line then you should do B.Ed.
You have many options. You also try to crack CAT, MAT, GMAT, NET etc. What you want it depends on you.
Here are also some other options like-
Bioinformatics
Bio Medical Engineering etc. By this you can join research sector.

Hi all, I had done BSc in Botany first class with distinction in year 2005 from University of Pune. I had to do MSc in Genetic, but didn't got admission.
So changed my track to 3D Computer graphics course. Their also I didn't got right job so got job in International BPO in pune. After 4 years got job in Graphic field and now working as designer in International organization in Pune. Just want to say you friend's that be ready to face problems finally wou will win the race bud don't give up in between.
Keep learning, keep doing new things/ courses/classes. It will help you. Don't waste your time in thinking. Keep moving.

I am a first year bsc botany student and after completing my bsc botany I want a job I am not interested in teaching so what is good for me

After BSc in Botany you have so many options but it depends on what do you really want to do.

Option 1: You like botany, want to pursue it further. Take MSc in Botany

There are many institutes/universities who advertise positions for research work and they look for candidates with MSc botany.

Apart from this, if you feel teaching is your hobby then you can teach school students as biology teacher. PGT teachers (biology) need to have a Master degree in anyone of the following - Botany/ Zoology/ Biological science/Agriculture/ Fisheries/ Biotechnology etc.
