Hello Friend,
After passing 10th you have to join any stream to complete your Graduation Degree Because Graduation is the minimum qualification required for IAS. The civil service exams conducted by UPSC every year,IAS (Indian Administrative service) is one of them.To become an IAS one can appear the exam & qualifying the exam with a good rank. so,You have to concentrate in your study & complete your graduation to apply the exam. You have sufficient time to prepare for the exam.Hard work is the key of success. The exam is very competitive.so,hard work is needed to qualifying the exam. IAS - Indian Administrative Service and to become an IAS officer, one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted once every year by UPSC after Graduation.
So after passing 10th, you have to complete 12th followed by Graduation in any stream in order to be eligible for IAS. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. As Civil Service Exam is tough and competitive, you should start your preparation accordingly after 12th for Civil Service Exam. For more information you may log on to http://www.upsc.gov.in |

Re: What can I do after passing 10th to become an IAS officer?
Dear..
The things that you have to do now after passing your class 10th exam are given below. if you understand this properly and act accordingly you will surely clear the exam. 1. First of all as you are a 10th pass candidate now so then you have to clear you 12th class from any recognized board. One more thing that i want to add here is that there is no specific subject limit for IAS so you can choose any subject that you feel like choosing and do well in that subject. 2. Once you clear your 12th then you have to en roll yourself to a graduate course as it is a must to become eligible for the IAS exam. You can choose any subject as there is no subject Bar but ideally you should choose the subject which you are going to choose as a subject of your IAS Apart from this you have to do certain other things that i have mentioned below :- 1. Improve your general knowledge 2. Focus more on subject from now onwards which you are going to choose for you IAS exam 3. Improve your communication as you have to face an interview also 4. Start reading newspaper to get in depth knowledge about various happenings in the world. Hope it will help Cheers...!!! |

Re: What can I do after passing 10th to become an IAS officer?
Dear,
For becoming an IAS officer, you should be a graduate and your age should be 21 to 30 years. As now, you are saying about 10th, so firstly you have to complete your 11th and 12th class in your desired stream as there is not any specification of stream in IAS. After that you have to go for your graduation degree. When you will in final year or when you will finish final year you can apply for upsc ias exam. BUT YOU CAN START PREPARATION AS THIS IS A HIGHLY COMPETITIVE EXAM AND YOU HAVE TO PREPARE IT BY GIVING DETERMINATION AND HARD WORK. YOU ALSO HAVE TO BROUGHT GOOD MARKS IN YOUR STUDY TOO. SO ALL THE VERY BEST!!! |
