i am very week in mechanics and english so what can i do for it and how i can prepare myself for first semester exam in wbut.

Hai friend,
In 1st year it is common to every student.
but 1st marks are base of btech 4years.if you loose it you lose lot of marks.
In your preparation give more time. to which you feel hard.practice problems,formulas,daily once.deffinetly you get good marks.
in English some grammatical part will be there try to solve bits.and discuss with your friends in English.follow the notes.it is easy to pass,and get good marks.

In mechanics you should affort in kinematics,Trusses,Moment of Inertia,Bending moment diagram.These are the main topics you should be thorough with.
