BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) & B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) in Computer Science are 3 years graduation level degrees.

The eligibility requirements are different like for studying BCA it requires a 10+2 in any stream but for B.Sc in CS it requires 10+2 in PCM related stream.

BCA is a application oriented course which deals with the current technologies, new technologies and will work in core computing. This course is a technical course which will help you getting jobs easier in government & private sector.

B.Sc in CS is a concept oriented course which deals with the core concepts of Computer science. This is a general course so getting jobs in any sector will take time.

After completing BCA you can only choose MCA in masters where as for B.Sc in CS you can choose MCA & M.Sc in CS.

Based on the job opportunities & career scope it will be better if you choose BCA. If you wish to do your masters after completing graduation degree then it will be better if you choose B.Sc in CS.
Based on your interest you can choose one course and score good percentage in the degree.

BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Applications and B.Sc stands for Bachelor of Science.

Both the courses are 3 year Graduate level courses being offered by many of the colleges in India.

Though both the courses are related to Computers, there are some differences between both the courses.

B.Sc Computer Science is concept oriented. Core concepts related to Computers would be taught in B.Sc Computer Science like
-History of Computers
-Generations of Computers
-Microprocesseors
-Data Structure
-Compilers etc.

BCA is more of technical oriented. You will get to know in detail about programming languages like
C
C++
JAVA
ORACLE etc.

These languages would be taught in B.Sc also but only high level things will be covered.

Industry needs candidates with strong technical or practical knowledge than the candidates who are concept oriented.

Hence BCA is a better choice for the candidates compared to B.Sc Computer Science.

You can get into jobs directly after completion of BCA course where as there is less scope for the candidates of B.Sc CS to get job.

BCA - bachelor of computer applications
BSc- bachelor of science
If you were a student in science stream then you're eligible for both however bsc in computer science requires physics , chemistry and mathematics or computer science in your 12th curriculum.
BCA resembles Btech course with detailed studies about programming, languages, coding etc where's bsc in computer science is more theoretical in nature and stuffs about computer knowledge. BCA is a better choice if you want a job in a company whereas if you want to work as a teacher Bsc in computer science will be ideal.
