What are all the different roles and function of Reserve Bank of India? How can I become an employee of Reserve Bank of India? Which qualification is required? Any entrance? What is the minimum salary paid by Reserve Bank of India?

Some roles of RBI:
1. Monetary authority
2. Banker's bank
3. Supervisor of the financial system
4. Issuer of currency
5. Banker to the government
6. Manager of foreign exchange

The various positions are regularly advertised in leading newspapers and Employment News/Rojgar Samachar. For all the Class I posts, that is officers, in the RBI, the Reserve Bank of India Services Board (RBISB) conducts examinations /interviews. and for some special posts, such as, Assistant Manager (Security), Manager (Technical), Librarian, etc., you are required to appear only for an interview, without going through any tests.
