Re: What is the eligibility and minimum qualifications for doing MBA?
hi friend,
Eligibility test refers to the test on the basis of which student gets admitted in management college. In India, either college conducts their own entrance exam or follow the score of other entrance exam in order to admit candidates. Graduation is the must things to be admitted in MBA course. But according to institutes or Tests , percentages of qualifying may vary. Even some may not require any percentage criterian. On All India Level:- CAT : Common Admission Test Eligibility: The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA)categories], awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University MAT: Management Aptitude Test Eligibility:Graduates in any discipline. Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply. GMAT - Graduate Management Admission Test Eligibility: No minimum fixed qualification however it is better to have a graduation degree. On State Level: Each state conducts their own entrance exam for admission in their Govt. and private college, registered under them. For example: RMAT: Rajasthan Management Aptitude Test MP-MET: Madhya Pradesh Management Entrance Test ......................................... On College Level: SNAP : Symbiosis National Aptitude conducted by SIBM, Mumbai Eligibility: Candidate should be a graduate from a recognised university with a minimum score of 50%. For candidates belonging to SC/ST category a score of 45% in graduation XAT: Xavier Aptitude Test conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur Eligibility:A candidate should have either completed the graduation or should be in the final year of graduation for provisional admission. .......................................... Some college follow the college level entrance exam score not national level test like CAT or etc. So plan accordingly. |

Re: What is the eligibility and minimum qualifications for doing MBA?
Dear,
The eligibility criteria for MBA is as follows:- For India:- 1.) You need to have a bachelor's degree (3-year course) or equivalent in any discipline recognised by any Indian University / AICTE as eligible for post-graduate studies. 2.) You can apply while you are in your final year of graduation. If you do get through the admission test, you will be given provisional admission on the condition that you provide your mark sheet and a certificate of passing by a certain date. For US and Europe:- The basic qualifying exam for doing an MBA outside India (US, Europe, Australasia) is the GMAT (Graduate Management Aptitude Test) conducted in centers across India. After you get your GMAT results, you need to apply for admission to specific institutes. There is normally no GD or Personal Interview process (like in India) - however, different institutes have different processes and criteria for admitting students. Thanks. |
