Go through the previous year papers and prepare from the concerned subjects you have opted for gate and have a thorough and a deep knowledge of the concepts...

TANCET is for admission in M.Tech/M.E./MBA/MCA/M.Arch/M.Plan programmes.Important dates regarding the exam are listed below.

1.Date of Entrance Examination: May End, 2010.
2.Availability of Application Forms: April 1st week, 2010
3.Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: April 3rd week, 2010

The Question Paper will have 100 objective type questions. Each question will be followed by four alternate answers.

The Candidate has to choose the correct answer and shade the appropriate circle against the question in the answer sheet with pencil/ ball point pen (black or blue).

While evaluating the answers, one mark is awarded for each correct answer and 1/3 mark is deducted for each wrong

answer. No deduction will be made for questions left unanswered. Multiple shading will be considered as wrong answer and 1/3 mark will be deducted.

At first I want to tell you that sitting in Gate is not an easy tusk.So you should prepare yourself very nicely.I'm giving the name of the books but after reading the books you will have to practice them otherwise you can not memorize it in examination hall.

And for tancet you should follow the books of Arihant Publications.

Besides this you can collect other books from your friends because you can not get it from net like study materials of GATE FORUM and CONVOLUTION etc.
