Re: What is the Indian Navy criteria? I have passed 10th CBSE
Having completed 10th class, you are not eligible to make your entry into Indian Navy.
The minimum academic qualification that a candidate should possess to make entry into Indian Navy is 12th class. It is must that the candidates should have gone through Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects in the 12th class. Soon after the completion of 12th class with these subjects, the candidates can give NDA Exam which is the common entrance exam for the candidates to be placed in -Army wing -Navy wing -Air Force wing This Exam is being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year. The selection procedure to be placed in above Defence services is by -Written Exam -Interview -Medical test One should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for this exam. In addition, one should be an unmarried male candidate to take this exam. Female candidates are not at all eligible to take this exam. So, I suggest you to join 12th class with stream where Maths and Physics are being available. Have good preparation for this exam right from the beginning of your 12th class and crack it.
