What is the Intermediate cut-off for B.Arch admission in IIT Bombay and NIT?

Hi, I have completed my Intermediate from Science stream with PCM subject combination and scored 92.58%. So, can I get admission in IIT Bombay or NIT for studying B.Arch? Do I need to write any entrance for B.Arch? If yes, then please share entrance details as well.

Note that IIT Bombay is not offering B.Arch course. Instead, it offers B.Design course.

If you are looking to pursue B.Arch course from NITs, then you will have to qualify JEE Main Paper 2.

You must score above 240 marks at least to get seat in NIT for pursuing B.Arch course.

With 240+ marks, your rank would be around 5k and you would be safe zone to get NIT.

I am mentioning some of the NITs along with their opening and closing ranks for Architecture course (for General candidates).
  • NIT Jaipur: 1493-2475
  • NIT Bhopal: 2329-3054
  • NIT Calicut: 945-1362
  • NIT Hamirpur: 1786-3599
  • NIT Patna: 1101-1683
  • NIT Raipur: 2027-3886
  • NIT Rourkela: 1167-1949
  • NIT Trichy: 121-1075
  • NIT Nagpur: 2156-3250

JEE Main Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B.Arch courss in NITs.

Generally, application forms come in September and last date would be in October. Finally, exam would be conducted in January month of the next year.

Since, JEE Main is now conducted twice in a year, so you can apply for April session also after appearing in January session exam.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
