please tell me what is the lowest mark to get into nit through aieee ? Can you please tell me that

About 55 % marks is required

Hi,sandhya you require atleast 50% marks for getting into an nit .

If you have a rank within 12000, you can surely get into good NIT.....you can even get NIT at 20000 in later rounds of counselling.....one of my friend got NIT surathkal at 26000 because of its state quota......so dont worry for that......Just concentrate on studies......I know you will surely get a good rank and a good college as well......

The cut off for AIEEE keeps changing every year.
But if your rank is within 20,000 ,then your selection is sure.

So according to my approximation, you should try to score above 200 in aieee.
But if you are aiming of top branches like CS/EE/Mech , then try to score above 250.
Also if a particular NIT belong to your home state , then you will get 50% reservation in that.

Considering you want admission in a NIT across India thro AIEEE Entrance Exam; for this your AIEEE All India rank should be less that 20,000. This is an approximate rank based upon the previous cut off’s. The eligibility, cut off & minimum mark may vary every year. You could have a different cut off this year i.e. for 2011.

nits are provided in aieee college if your rank is upto 20,000.
But good nits and good branches are closed at 10000-12000.
...
So minimum marks should be 170-200 to get a good nit college..

yes you will get your nit .. But its your rank which will decide which branch you will get............

your rank will be above 30,000 if you belong to general category ,, may be you get some nit in 3rd or 4th counselling.... You should opt for private colleges of aieee. You will surely get a good one.......

if you belong to sc category you will then get a nit or in general category you will not be getting any nit.......... In my opinion you should prepare one more year...............you should also join a coaching institute ..... For better results...

Minimum marks required to get admission in NIT through AIEEE

NITs college take admission through AIEEE examination. If you are

appear in the AIEEE exam and if you get the rank upto 18,000 then i

think that you can get a chance to take admission in the NIT college.

There are limited seat available in the NIT and a large number of

aspirants appear in the AIEEE exam so competition becomes really hard.

Hello sir, In AIEEE 2011 i have got a state rank of 445 and an overall rank of 10895 under general category in B.Arch stream.Is there any chance of getting admission in NIT calicut???
