hi, i am student of XII science and wanted to join army.I want to do something for my country . what should i do to join army? What is the fee structure of the course?

i complete 2 in 2011 i want to study about forensic science (privacy policy) so what i do for admission for it.Thanks.

To join Indian Army after +2, you will have to write National Defense Academy-NDA- exam.
The examination is conducted by UPSC, two times a year.
The minimum eligible age for the exam is 16 1/2 years.
The maximum age limit is 19 years.
Since the examination is conducted twice a year, it has been named as NDA I and NDA II.
The last date of applying for NDA II, for the year 2011 has already expired.
The online as well as offline application forms, for the year 2012, will be available after the notification issued by UPSC.

eligibility criteria for NDAS exam is given below

>>candidate should an Indian.

>>candidate should a science holder with 12 qualified.

10+2appearing/ passout students can join Indian Defence Forces by appearing in National Defence Academy (NDA) Examination which is conducted by Union Public Service Commition, twice in a year in the month of April and August.

To be eligible for the examination, the candidate must be a male Indian within the age limit of 16 1/2 to 19 years on the date of commecement of training.

Minimum educational qualification required is to be 10+2 passout with any of the stream. If the candidate is willing to join Indian Air Force or Indian Navy, then he must have Physics and Mathematics as a qualifying subjects in 10+2.

Notification for the examination would be published in Employment Newspaper in the month of March and October for August and April examination respectively.

There is no fee charged from the candidate who qualify the written exam and the interview and eligible to commence training.

it occurs twice in a year NDA-I & NDA-II
after +2 you can apply for this exam for high post you should be a graduate or post graduate.
to prepare for this exam you should be seriously prepare & some books are like.

T Join Indian Army

You can appear for the NDA (National Defense Academy) exam which takes place twice every year..once in the month of April and once in the month of August..

The forms shall be available in your nearest book depot..

The candidates must satisfy two criterion for appearing in the NDA :-

1) you should be a 12th pass-out from any stream for Indian Army

2) you should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years for appearing in this exam..

apart from these..you should be physically fit and should have a perfect eyesight..

you have to first clear the written exam, then the interview and then the medical examination..

I would tell you the details as far as I know. Generally women are not allowed in IMA to join as officer cadre. They are allowed for selection only in OTA ( officers training academy ) in non-technical course. Even though the height is not considered for you to apply, the age limit is a big problem for you now. Just refer the notification of combined defense services in the upsc website. I think this time, you would not eligible to apply in grounds of age limit. You have missed out a chance of applying last year.

then you can apply for NDA exam conducted by UPSC(UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISION ) held twice in a year
you can apply for this and can join indian army. airforce , and navy

Hi.

If you wish to join the Indian Army after your 10+2, then NDA is the exam for you.

NDA - National Defense Academy. UPSC conducts this exam twice every year, but if you are appearing for 12th, NDA is for you.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA exam :-

1. Only unmarried male candidates are recruited through this exam.

2. The candidates should have passed class 12th from a recognized board, or school.

3. A minimum of 50% aggregate is required in the 12th boards.

4. Age of the candidate should be between 16.5 to 19 years for NDA 1 and 21 to 25 for NDA 2.

So if you apply for NDA exam, first of all you have to clear it. If you do so, then you would be called for an SSB interview, and a physical test.

Physical test would be very tough, and strict. You have to be perfectly fit to apply for the NDA.

No fees apart from the NDA form would be taken. The government of India would take all your expenses if you qualify this exam.
