Drug Inspector exams are conducted by mostly by all state government for their states.

If you have completed degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized University or equivalent then you are applicable for Drug Inspector Exam.

Also you must have 3 years' experience in the manufacture or testing of Biological course then you should be strong candidate for this exam .Your age must be above 18 years.Your maximum age should be below 32 years.

* If you want to become a Drug Inspector , then you must have to follow the below mentioned :

- You must have completed your graduation in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology
from any recognized college/university.

* Your age should lie in between 21-30 years.

You need to complete B.Pharm so as to apply for Drug inspector post. Apart from this, those who have done specialization in clinical pharmacology and microbiology can also apply for the same. The age limit for this post is 21 – 32 years. You should get through UPSC Drug Inspector exam so as to get in to this post. The syllabus of this entrance exam will mainly focus on technical subjects like pharmaceutical analysis, forensic pharmacy, medicinal chemistry etc. Along with this, there will be questions relating to general studies and mental ability.

The Drug Inspector Examination is conducted by APSPSC Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission in Andhra State.
This examination is conducted every year one time.

The educational requirement for Drug Inspector Examination is as follows:
Degree in
Pharmacy of Pharmaceutical Science.

Pharmacy of Medicine with specillization in clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized university.

Degree in Agriculture
Food Technology
Science of Food Technology
Pharmacy of Medicine.

The selection Procedure is Based on :
Written Examination
Documentation Verification
and Medical Examination.

Age limit:
Minimum 21 years to 30 years.
Paper pattern:
There are two papers:
1. First paper covers Pharmacy
200 marks

2. G.K. 50 Marks
viva voice test: 25 marks

syllabus:
Forensic pharmacy
Pharmaceutical 9analysis
Medical Chemistry
Pharmacology and taxiology
hospital and clinical pharmacy analomy , physiology and health education.
