IPS stands for Indian Police service.

Graduation degree with minimum percentage marks from any discipline.Final year candidate can also applicable for IPS Exam.Not required any kind of percentage marks in graduation degree .

Age criteria for IPS exam for general candidate is 21 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is there as per govt rule .

Age relaxation for IPS exam:-

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PHC candidates
5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman

The maximum no of attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

Selection process of this exam are - Preliminary exam ,Mains exam and Personal Interview

Eligibility and Criteria:

A candidate must have completed their Graduation Study in any Discipline from Recognized Universities are eligible for Indian Police service exam , Final years student who are waiting for their final result can also apply for it , There are not required any percentage marks in graduation degree....

Age required in 21 to 30 years if you are general category candidate. There is age relaxation available of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC....

There are only 4 attempts for General category for OBC 7 attempt limit and for SC/ST no attempt limit.....

Minimum qualification required to appear for IPS exams is Graduation from a recognized university.

IPS exams are conducted by UPSC every year as civil services exams.

Age Limit :

General - 21 to 30 yrs

OBC - 21 to 33 yrs

SC/ST - 21 to 35 yrs

Defence Personnal - 21 to 33 yrs

Ex serviceman - 21 to 35 yrs

IPS - Indian Police Services

One thing i want to tell you that to gain the eligibility for the civil services exam , you need a Bachelors degree and there is no importance given to 12th board.

So , if you have done diploma in ECE after 10th instead of 12th board , even then you can apply for the civil services exam.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Civil Services Exam every year through which you can join the Indian Police Services (IPS).

The Qualifications Required For Civil Services Exam are :

am,i elligible for ips officer post ihad done 3yrs diploma,in information technology with70% and graduation with70%.

IPS - Indian Police Service, to become an IPS officer, one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year.

Qualification for IPS, Civil Service Exam:-

-The candidate must be an Indian National.
-Should have either appeared for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University.
-Should be within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.
-Should have possessed good Physical Fitness.

Apart from this the candidate should have possess minimum prescribed Physical requirement such as:-
