To become an Architect, first of all you will have to complete your higher secondary education from a recognized board with Mathematics as a major subjects. Once you qualify the higher secondary education with a minimum of 50% marks and Mathematics as a major subject, you can then apply for Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program which is the minimum qualification to become a professional Architect. There are various universities offering the course and most of them accepts application with a valid NATA or AIEEE score. NATA stands for National Aptitude Test in Architecture and is conducted by Council Of Architecture, the body which regulates the courses as well as the profession of Architecture. AIEEE is another national level entrance examination and stands for All India Engineering Entrance Examination. However, there are various institutes which conducts their own entrance examination for assessing candidates eligibility to pursue the course.

I have completed my 12th standard through commerce field but because of some problems the Maharashtra board is not giving me my result,so is there any professional course based on my field which i can do on the basis of 10th standard????

For taking admission in Architecture course you will have to apply for NATA(National aptitude test in Architecture).It is a 5 year degree course.

For applying to this exam you will have to meet these Eligibility conditions :-

Educational qualification :-

• Your minimum qualification should be 10+2 pass out with physics,Chemistry and Mathematics.

Marks :-

• Your minimum marks in 10+2 should be 70 percentile.

This test will include 2 papers :-

1. Test I - Aesthetic Sensitivity - It will be of 100 marks and total duration will be 1 hour.
2. Test II - Drawing - It will be of 100 marks and total duration will be 2 hour.

TEST I

• Three dimensional objects.
• Identify commonly used materials.
• Analytical reasoning.
• Mental ability.
• Imaginative comprehension and expression.
• Architectural awareness.

TEST II

• Ability to sketch for a given object.
• Visualizing and drawing the effects of lights.
• sense of perspective drawing.
• combining and composing the given 3 dimensional objects.
• creating visual harmony.
• understanding of scale proportion.
• Drawing from memory of given themes.

i have done my 10th after that i did 3years master degree in diploma in interior designing now am i eligible to give nata and go for architecture ?

Your drawing and analyzing skills should very good in order to be an architect.
After completing your 12th you can appear for test called NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture).

1. How much parcentenc is neccery to gete admission in architect collage after tenth.
2. What i the prosess to gat admission in the collage of architect.
3. Can collage provide job for the students after completting architect.
