Hello, I want to become an Investigation Officer. I have taken Commerce stream. What should I do after my 12th in order to become an Investigation Officer? Please answer specifically as I am from India.

The candidate should be complete bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised University of India.

The candidate should be a citizenship of India.

Age Criteria:-

The age limit is 20 years to 23 years. 3 years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years upper Age relaxation for SC/ ST candidates.

Selection Procedure:-

Written Test, Personal Interview.

So, first complete your graduation and then appear this exam.

Eligibility criteria for Investigation officer (CID or CBI):-

**Candidate must have done graduation in any stream from a
recognized university(Any stream in class 12).
**Entrance exam:-Indian Civil Services examination held by the Union
Public Service Commission(UPSC).
**Age bar:- 20-27 years(relaxation age for special category)
