what should i do after 12class to become a ca

CA is the Chartered Accountancy course. The first step to get enrolled in this course after 10+2 board exams is to appear for the Common Proficiency Test conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. CPT is the first stage of CA course followed by Integrated professional competence course and final course.

Any 10+2 passed candidate from any recognized board can appear for this exam. It is conducted twice every year in the month of June and December every year. You can apply for the exam at www.icai.org.

It is an objective exam of 200 objective questions from subjects like:

Economics.

Mercantile law.

Fundamentals of Accounting.

Aptitude.

To pass this test, a candidate must score at least 30% in each section and overall 50% aggregate.

You have to go for the following three stages:-

Ca-cpt
Ca-ipcc
Ca-finals

First you have to appear in the Cpt exam just after your 12th.Than you have to appear in the IPCC exam for this you must have to graduate with minimum 60% marks.Than you have to go for the Ca-finals after completion of this you have to write the article ship in this way you will complete the CA course.
