After completion of Graduation in any stream one can apply for CDS.

CDS - Combined Defence Service, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as CDS-I and CDS-II for an entry in to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy.

The eligible candidate aspiring for CDS, must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 25 years with good Physical and Mental health.

As you are pursing B.Tech 2nd year you can apply for CDS in the final year of your B.Tech. studies.

CDS can be applied on line by paying requisite fees for the exam.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

Your Question is some confusion in the question what should i do to give CDS exam after passing M.A B.Tech and in the below am a student of 2nd year.You are in 2nd B.tech so you are not eligible for this exam.If you are complete Graduation then you are eligible.Minimum qualification is Graduation and final year exams appearing candidates may also eligible for this CDS exam.so am giving as per my knowledge about the CDS exam.

If you are interested to give CDS exam the minimum educational qualification for this exam is graduation.CDS has four wings they are

1.Indian naval academy,
2.Indian airforce academy,
3.Indian military academy,
4.Officer training academy.

Eligibility criteria:-

**Candidate must be a citizen of india.

**The candidate must have to complete graduation in any discipline from a recognised university.

**Final year exams appearing candidates may also eligible and there is no percentage restrictions for this exam.

**Male and female both are eligible for this exam.

**Candidate should be physically fit.

Age limit:-

19 to 22years age limit For naval academy

19 to 23 years For airforce academy

19 to 24 years for military academy

19 to 25 years for medicser training academy

Note: No age relaxation.
