What is the upper age criteria for female candidates for the post of Assistant Professor in regular colleges?
Hi, I am 43 years old female candidate completed M.Sc with 57% and presently preparing for UGC NET examination. Is it possible to become an Assistant Professor in UGC recognized colleges at this stage? Is there any age relaxation for female candidates?

There is no upper age limit for the recruitment as an Assistant Professor.
Candidate passed master degree with minimum 55% aggregate from a recognised university. You will have to appear and qualify in NET to become eligible for recruitment. So, you are eligible to appear in the examination and become eligible for selection after qualifying in it. |
