respected sir , my self Deepak Singh i complete my 12th with science field from mumbai and want to give SCRA exam and when scra exam in 2012

SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentices Exam. This Exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Publlic Service Commission) every year.

For this academic year, UPSC has completed SCRA Exam.

Here are the important dates regarding upcoming SCRA Exam.

Date of commencement of notification :22-10-2011
Last date for the receipt of completed application forms : 21-11-2011
Date of SCRA Exam : 29-01-2012

But I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to appear for this exam as you are a candidate of 12th class with Science stream.

Because, one should have completed 12th class with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as the subjects in order to be eligible for this exam.

And so I suggest you to opt for other Graduation courses or to appear for other competitive exams which you are interested.

SCRA-Special Class Railway Apprentice

SCRA exam is conducted by UPSC every year once.This exam is conducted to take qualified students into Railway department as Apprentices.

Eligibility criteria for SCRA exam:
You should have complete 12th class with PCM stream from a recognized university.
And your age should be between 17 to 21 years.

Important dates for SCRA exam:
Issuing of application form from 15th Oct 2011 to 14th Nov 2011.
And exam is going to held on 29th Jan 2012.

If you have already applied with date,then you can appear for exam this year.Otherwise you should wait for next year notification of SCRA exam.

Well the last date to apply for the SCRA exam is already over which means that you can not apply for the SCRA exam of this year .SCRA exam is conducted by UPSC on behalf of Railway Board / Ministry.

SCRA is done in TWO Phases:

Part I ::Written examination:: carrying a maximum of 600 marks in the subjects as shown below.

Paper-I::General Ability Test which contains English, General Knowledge and Psychological Test of duration 2 hours and maximum marks is 200

Paper-II::Physical Sciences which contains Physics and Chemistry of duration 2 hours and maximum marks is 200

Paper-III::Mathematics of duration 2 hours and marks 200

Part II::Personality Test:: carrying a maximum of 200 marks in respect of only those candidates who are declared qualified on the results of written examination

I am sorry to say that you can not give S.C.R.A exam in 2012.
You can apply next year.
