heyy!!! I am saurbhi. i am from science[PCM] background. presently i am doing english [H]. should i do MBA after my graduation .will it be benefial for me, or should i opt for ant other course;
I am totally confused. plz suggest me.

Yes MBA is an option available after graduation for you. But you need to decide whether the same is suitable for you. You have to decide what your career path should be. Basically you must have the interest in the same. If you are interested in joining the administrative area then you can take MBA. Since you are interested in English you can take up Media as an area of specialisation.

if media is taken up as the area of specialization in mba, what could be the expected salary package, for starters and ahead?

If You Have Completed your English Hons. Degree Course After Intermediate and Interested in MBA course, Then Yes, MBA will be beneficial for you Because you have done your English Hons. And i think your communication skills was also good, So MBA course will helps you lot and after completing this course you will get good salary package in top MNC company.

But, Its totally depends on your Interest, If you like this course then yes you have to opt this course. But to get admission in this course, You need to appear for Entrance examination like CAT/MAT/GMAT examination.

Some colleges will also conducts his own entrance examination. So if you have missed the CAT/MAT examination then you can apply for University entrance examination. The selection in MBA are based on Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

So, Please prepare Yourself for Entrance examination, The examination questions are basically includes Quantitative and verbal reasoning, General Knowledge, English Comprehension and Data Interpretation.

The Paper are totally objective type. But to crack this examination with good percentile was not easy, If you are interested to crack the entrance examination, then please read daily newspaper, Magazines, Purchase some previous year papers and solve them regularly. You have to also prepare for GD and Personal Interview.

So, Please don't worry, After completing English Hons, MBA Course is Beneficial for you and you have not face any difficulties after opting this course because English is compulsory for MBA course and if your communication skills are good then MBA is very beneficial for you. But please do this course from top Business schools.

even i had the same query. i passed my 12th from science stream, den i wasted 2 years doing a diploma in elemenary teaching den finally i got admission in english hons LSR and i'll surely prepare for CAT/MAT/GMAT.
but i'm confused about the field to opt in MBA... i mean should i do MBA in finance, HR, marketing, or some other field. I'm an introvert and cant speak that much so i think marketing is not for me...is finance a good option.I'm good in maths too. (REPLY SOON)

Hello ! I'm rupali ...I just completed my class 12th with 66% . I want to do MBA in future ...but I'm confused what to do to get my bachelor's degree! I'm interested in English hons but my brother suggests me to take economics hons as it will give me more scope !!
