BITSAT 2008 Cutoffs
This year around BITSAT was conducted on 9th of May. I will tell you how the BITSAT examination is conducted. First of all you need to report atleast 20 minutes before the examination to avoid any panic. As you enter the examination centre, they will collect your mobile phones and put them in packets and you will be issued a token against it and a seat number will also be allotted to you.
Pattern of examination:
1. Part I : Physics (40 Questions)
2. Part II : Chemistry (40 Questions)
3. Part III : English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning (25 Questions)
4. Part IV : Mathematics / Biology (45 Questions)
5. Total time – 180 minutes
6. +3 and -1 is the marking scheme

I am going to complete 4 years of my High School by Jun 2010 (9th, 10th, 11th & 12th grade) from California, USA. As a part of the Hi gh School curriculum, I completed the honors courses in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics till 11th. I am pursuing advanced courses in Chemistry and Mathematics during 12th grade. I wanted to know if I need to take a separate course in Physics as well along with the other subjects in order to make me eligible for BITS application. As per the policy of the school, they donot allow a student to double up (two science subjects in the same year) on science subject.
