Will I be promoted in class 10 if fail in 1 subject of 9th CBSE?
I have failed only in 1 subject (science) class 9 cbse, will i be promoted in class 10 ? my overall grade in other subjects is A1 AND A2 ( a good performance ) . i study in class 9 INDUS VALLEY WORLD SCHOOL, KOLKATA , CBSE

No, you cannot be promoted to 10th class if you fail in class 9 exam. Spanning from CBSE to ICSE or State Board approved schools, the minimum criteria for admission in class 10 is scoring required marks in class 9.

No. If you fail in one subject of class 9, then you have to give a retest exam on that particular subject. After passing all the subjects in class 9, you will be promoted to class 10.
