Hello sir,I m doing BE from open university and I wanna become deputy collector.. Is it eligible from open university to give exams of collector officer and how would I go for further if from open university is not eligible

Eligibility for Deputy Collector is givan below:-

Citizen of India.

The candidate showed complete their graduation level degree or equivalent education from any recognised University.

The age should be between 21 to 30 years.

The number of attempts for general candidates is 4, for OBC candidate it is 7 and no limits for SC/ST candidates.

If you fulfill the eligibility requirement then you can attend for the entrance exam and qualify in the exam so that you will be able to become Deputy Collector.

A collector is one of the most prestigious jobs in India. To become a collector you first have to appear in the civil service exam conducted by UPSC. Any Indian, Nepali, or Bhutanese with a graduation degree in any stream from a government recognized university can give that exam. The candidate should be 21 years old or above to be eligible for the exam.

Eligibility for deputy collector :-

The minimum educational qualification required for this post is that you must have completed a graduation degree from any recognized University or Institute. Also, you must appear for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) and qualify for the exam to get eligible for the post.

The age of the candidate should be between 21 years to 30 years old to be eligible for the post of deputy collector.

Eligibility criteria required to become for Deputy Collector:

The minimum basic eligibility criteria required to become Deputy Collector is given below,

@ Candidates must have completed Bachelor's degree or Graduation from a recognized university or institute to be eligible.

@ That Graduation must be done from any institution established by the act of parliament or any university under the section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

@ Hence if that university or institute is recorded as mentioned above, I can say that Graduation course done by that university is recognized and accepted. There by you will be eligible to apply for this recruitment.

The eligibility to appear for the PCS examination conducted by the respective state is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

So, if you have passed from a recognised university eligible to offer the degree then eligible to appear for the examination.
