The maximum age limit to sit in Indian Forest Service examination for a girl student is 32 years for general category (+3 years for OBC and +5 years for SC/ST). There is no age relaxation for girls in Indian Forest Service Examination. The examinations are conducted by the UPSC. The candidates who have completed graduation in Veterinary Science/ Botany/ Geology/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Statistics/ Zoology/ Agriculture/ Forestry are eligible to apply for the Indian Forest Service examination. The posts of IFS are filled up through the civil services examination conducted by the UPSC.

According to the eligibility criteria released by the UPSC :

* The candidate should be a citizen of India.

* The candidate should have completed graduation through any stream under the scheme of 10+2+3 at least form a recognized university.

* The candidate should be of 21 years and the maximum age is 32 years for a general category candidate at the time of application.

* The candidate should be physically and medically fit.

So, you still have 3 attempts as per your age.

No, you are not eligible to appear for NDA entrance examination.

The eligibility to appear for examination is :-

Candidate must have passed 10+2 or appearing from any recognised board.

Candidate's age must be between 16.5-19.5 years.

So, you are not eligible to appear for examination as per educational qualification. But you are eligible to appear for examination as physical standard but you have to lose your weight.

The preliminary examination of Indian Forest Services is conducted through Civil Services examination and mains examination is conducted separately.

The age limit for Indian Forest Services is 21-32 years on 1st August of year of examination. There is no special age relaxation for female candidates. OBC and SC/ST female candidates can get upper age relaxation of three years and five years respectively.

For Indian Forest Services examination, you must fulfill following eligibility criteria:

1. Academic qualification:

>>Candidate must have done bachelor's degree in any discipline but must of studied any of the subject like physics, zoology, botany, agriculture, animal husbandary, mathematics etc. Or you must have bachelor's degree in engineering or bachelor's degree in forestry.

General candidate: 21-32 years.

OBC candidate: 21-35 years.

SC/ST candidate: 21-37 years.

As you age is 29 years and you are from general category, you can apply for this examination.

Candidates who belong to reserved category like OBC and SC/ST get upper age relaxation. For OBC candidate, the upper age limit is 35 years and for SC/ST candidate is 37 years. There is no special relaxation for female candidates. You can get age relaxation of your category.
