IRDA stands for the Insurance Regularity and Development Authority. The syllabus of IRDA exam mainly covers following topics and questions are generally asked from these topics:

>>Understanding insurance.

>>Providing technical product information.

>>Providing professional advice.

>>Understanding Claims.

>>Fulfilling legal and regulatory requirements.

>>Understanding customer protection and ethics.

The test is conducted online and contains 50 multiple choice questions with no negative marking and the duration of test is one hour. To pass the test, a candidate must score at least 50% marks.
