Kindly tell me what is the minimum percentage required to get admission in Delhi University for B.Com course for me as I have got 85 percent in 12th so can I apply for DU B.Com?

Delhi university is one of the India's best university and admission in the university is on the basis of aggregate in 10+2 for most of courses.

It is tough to get admission in B.Com after scoring 85% in 10+2. As for most of colleges the minimum required aggregate to get admission in course is above 90% in best four subject.

The application for 2016-17 admission is not started in Delhi university and will start from end of May.

As the cut off list increases every year then as per your aggregate in 10+2 it is tough to get admission in bachelor of commerce with just 85% in 10+2.

Generally candidates above 92% with mathematics as one of main paper are eligible to get admission in course. But you can wait for hope to get admission to get admission.

Eligibility criteria for DU B.Com Admission :-

All elective subjects in CBSE curriculum which are regarded as Honours course by the university will be accepted in the best of four as academic subjects without any disadvantage.

The students who will be applying for Honours course in Economics, Mathematics and Statistics need only to pass in Mathematics in Class 12.

Minimum Percentage of Marks required for DU B.Com Admissions –

B.Com.- 40% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination. The merit will be determined on the basis of one language and three best elective subjects.

B.Com (Hons.) - 45% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.

Yes, you can apply for B.Com course in Delhi University.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard with above 80% marks in 12th standard with commerce subject from a recognized board are eligible for B.Com course in Delhi University.

Your age should be above 16 years.

The percentage required for admission in any bachelor's degree is not fixed and fluctuates every year. With 85% marks, you are eligible to apply for UG admissions in Delhi University. Delhi University releases notification for admission in last week of May. After that you can apply for it at www.du.ac.in.

When application process is over, Delhi University releases several cut off lists for admission in different colleges under it. If in any cut off starting from first, if percentage required for admission in any college is equal to 85% or less than it for B.Com, you can take admission in that college.

Can I get admission in any of du colleges with 84.25 % for bcom. I am from unreserved category.

will DU calculate only 12th % or it calculates both 11th and 12th percentage?
