Hello Sir/Mam, I want to join NIT-Meghalaya for studying BTech(Mechanical Engineering) course. I want to know about the fee expenses of this course so that I can take admission. If anyone of you knows about the fee expenses then please inform me asap.

Fee expenses of B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) in NIT-Meghalaya are as follows:-
Year 1 - Rs. 1.43 Lakhs
Year 2 - Rs. 1.37 Lakhs
Year 3 - Rs. 1.37 Lakhs
Year 4 - Rs. 1.37 Lakhs
So, Grand Total - Rs. 5.54 Lakhs

BTech(Mechanical Engineering) in NIT-Meghalaya is full time 4 years duration of course which is divided into 8 semesters. Fee expenses for this course is given below.
Tuition fee per semester: INR 62,500/-

Other fee per semester (including Exam fee, admission fee, library fee, book purchase, laboratory and internet fee, student activity fee and hostel establishment fee etc.): INR 7500/-

Identity Card Fee – Rs 150 one time
Provisional Certificate Fee – Rs 100 one time
Students Welfare Fund – Rs 1000 one time

Tuition Fee – Rs 62,500 per semester
Examination Fee – Rs 600 per semester
Admission / Enrollment Fee – Rs 600 per semester
Library Fee – Rs 300 per semester
Book Purchase – Rs 1,000 per semester
Laboratory and Internet Fee – Rs 2,000 per semester
Student Activity Fees – Rs 1,500 per semester
Hostel Establishment Fees – Rs 1,500 per semester

Caution Deposit (refundable):

Institute – Rs 5,000 one time
Hostel – Rs 5,000 one time

BTech is a 4 year UG course.

Fees for BTech in NIT, Meghalaya is as follows:-

Year 1 - 143250
Year 2 - 137000
Year 3 - 137000
Year 4 - 137000

Total fees for 4 years is INR 554250.

Fee expenses of B.Tech(Mechanical Engineering) in NIT-Meghalaya are given below.

=> Second year = ₹137,000

=> Third year = ₹137,000

=> Fourth year = ₹137,000
