NET Examination is conducted by UGC (University Grants Commission) twice in a year and the examination is held in the month of June and December.

Graduation Marks is not matter for NET (National Eligibility Test) they only take it as account Post Graduation marks so you don't worry about your UG Marks. To apply for NET Examination, the candidate need to completed Post Graduate from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and must secure at least 55% Marks in aggregate of all the semester. Even Final year of Master degree may also eligible to apply for this examination.

Hello friend !!!

The NET stands for -- National Eligibility Test .

NET is the National level entrance examination in India conducted for only postgraduate candidates .

This examination is conducted for the students to qualify for admission in Ph.D research and/or University Level Teaching Jobs in India.

The National Educational Testing Bureau of University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) to determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

The Eligibility Criteria for NET Examinations is :

You must owe an Masters Degree in any discipline.

And you must have secured at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test .

If you are in Masters Graduation Final yr are also eligible for appearing for this examination .

You must be in the age of 20-28 yrs only for appearing this examination .

Since you have only 47% in your Graduation, you are not eligible to appear for the NET.
