CGPA stands for Cumulative Grade Point Average. You need to multiply CGPA obtained by a factor of 9.5 to get desired percentage of marks.
For example, in first part, your CGPA is 6.25, to get equivalent percentage, 6.25*9.5 which is equals to 59.37%. In same way you can convert rest two. To calculate final percentage of bachelor's degree, you need to know your university's weightage given to different bachelor's degree. |

I belong to 1981-83 PG Madras University. We were awarded grades at that time. I secured the following grades. Total 16 papers-all major papers.I secured one O grade, eleven A grades, Two B grades and Two C grades. (weight-age: O-6 point, A - 5 pt, B - 4 pt, C - 3 pt and D - 2 pt) My OGPA was given as Grade "B" 4.41.pts. I feel that as I secured eleven "A" and one "O", I should have secured 'A" Grade. can you please clarify. My grades printed in my mark sheets. Out of 16 papers, I secured Internal "O" grade External "B" grade and the weighted grade = "A" in 9 papers. Another two papers, I secured Internal "O" grade External "A" grade and the weighted grade = "A". Another two papers, I secured Internal "O" grade External "C" grade and the weighted grade = "B". Another two papers, I secured Internal "O" grade External "D" grade and the weighted grade = "C" . In the last one paper I secured Internal "O" grade External "O" grade and the weighted grade = "O" . If anyone knows, kindly tell me whether the calculation is right and if, right what is the percentage of marks. If calculation is wrong, kindly let me know the correct grade and the percentage of marks according to the grade.
