I am second year civil student (SPPU). I want to transfer my admission to another college in same University and same district is it possible? How?

Yes, it is possible to change your college at 2nd year under the same university and district. At first you have to contact the authorities of the university and inform them regarding the matter. Now if they gives the permission then you have to write an application mentioning the matter and submit it to the authorities. Make sure you have a valid reason for changing the college. You should have secured good marks in the 1st year and with that marks you will get a seat in another college. Therefore, if the university grants your application, then you will be eligible to get admission in another college.

You have to contact the college you want to take admission and they will guide you how to change from one college to another in the same university. The process will be different from one university to another, so you have to contact the university or check the details in your university website. Mostly government colleges will not take admission in the second year. You have to contact the private colleges for admission in the second year. The private colleges might ask some donations for taking admission in second year. It is always advisable to study in a same college.

If you have just completed your 1st year and have got admission in 2nd year,i.e. 3rd semester and have scored atleast 60% in aggregate, only then you will be eligible to apply for transfer to another college. Also, you should have some strong reasons behind it, otherwise your application will be cancelled.

For transfer from one college to another you have to talk the higher authorities of your college or institution. Only they can help you about it. If they allow you then you have to write an application for getting your transfer certificate. Thanks

The criteria is such that the candidate should have scored a minimum of 60% in aggregate and should apply for transfer after 1st year or before that and not after that.
