Am i eligible to become a lecturer and qualifications for lecturer
iam a B.A pass course graduate with only 38%. Am i good to go for M.A? I want to be a lecturer.

Eligibility Criteria to become a Lecturer post:-
The candidate should have passed master's degree with 55% marks from a recognised University are eligible for lecturer post. And Qualify UGC NET, CSIR NET, UGC - CSIR NET, GATE, SET or SLET. Age limit:- There is no age limit criteria. UGC has not set any age limit of lectureship post. |

To become an Assistant professor (lecturer) in a recognized degree college/university, the minimum education required is a Master's degree course in a relevant discipline with at least 55% marks in aggregate (or 50% marks in aggregate in case you belong to a reserved category) from a recognized university.
Apart from attaining the mentioned educational qualification, you are also required to qualify UGC-NET for your recruitment as an assistant professor in any college/institute expect in engineering colleges. |
