You are eligible or not depends upon marks scored in the master degree course. Those candidates who are aspiring to appear in CSIR NET entrance exam must have completed their Master degree course with 55% marks from a recognized university. So, if you have scored 55% marks in M.Sc Geography then definitely you are eligible.

Eligibility Criteria:

Academic Qualification- Applicant should have completed Master degree with 55% from a recognized university or Institution and 50% required for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

Age Limit:

Applicants age should not be more than 28 years for JRF (NET) and there is no age limit for lectureship (NET): no age limit
