I am studying Master’s in Agriculture in Andhra University. I want to study more after my post graduation. I am interested in PhD. Please tell me about the syllabus for Agriculture NET conducted by UGC. Also I want to know that I can get admission in Amity University after this exam?

Yes, you will get admission through UGC NET score based on the score obtained in UGC NET for pursuing PhD in Agriculture course. The basic eligibility criteria required to pursue PhD in Agriculture in Amity University is as follows.

>> Candidates must have completed their Master's Degree or M.Phil with minimum 55% or 50% marks respectively in order to be eligible in the concerned stream.

>> Candidates who have successfully cleared All India Examination or UGC NET or CISR NET or GPAT or ICMA or DST INSPIRE or ICAR ASRB..etc., with in the last 2 years from the time of applying for PhD at Amity shall be exempted from the written part of the selection process.

>> Hence, if you have cleared UGC NET, then you are surely eligible to pursue this PhD course. But you must have to appear for Amity University Personal Interview in order to be eligible.
