Can I study PhD without GATE being an Industrial Chemistry postgraduate?


Hello Everyone,
I have completed my M.Sc in Industrial Chemistry. I haven't apply for GATE but I want to do PhD. can I apply for PhD? Kindly tell me immediately.

You have completed M.Sc degree in Industrial Chemistry so you are eligible Ph.D degree without having GATE score. But you should qualify in CSIR NET exam.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree in Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics from a recognized university are eligible for CSIR NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Your age should be below 28 years.
