I am in fourth year of Mechanical Engineering course and wanted to appear in GATE exam. Please send me syllabus and detail about GATE? How much score required in GATE to get admission in top IITs?

GATE 2018 will be conducted on Februaru 3-4 and February 10-11 in online mode in different exam centers prescribed by the authorities.The application form of GATE 2018 will be available from the first week of September 2017.
Candidates appearing for GATE 2018 will have to attempt 65 questions in three hours given time.

Cutoff marks can't be predicted as it never remains same for each year, it keep on changing each and every year depending upon the number of available seat, difficulty level of examination, number of candidates appearing for the exam, demand of a particular course.
However, to get into IITs, the normal cutoff is around 600-650 GATE score.So, to get such GATE score, you should have to have atleast 85-90 out of 100.
